Founded in Queenstown, New Zealand, in 1992, Flying Trestles was one of the first location caterers for NZ’s TV and film industry, setting the standard for catering today.
Now, with 30 years of film industry experience, we've brought our expertise to the UK, delivering top-quality catering on an international scale.
OWNERS
David and Victoria Arnold, owners and directors of Flying Trestles Catering Ltd NZ, bring a wealth of experience in food, logistics, and event management. Originally from the UK, David moved to New Zealand with Victoria in 2011. Alongside Flying Trestles, they also run two restaurants and a bar.
Our Executive Head Chef, Philip Robinson, and Event Manager, Anna Barker-Danby, have over 30 years of combined catering experience across London, the UK, Europe, and New Zealand. Their expertise spans a wide range of events and cuisines.
After three years working together on Amazon productions in New Zealand, we combined our skills to launch Flying Trestles Catering UK, bringing world-class location catering to British shores.

We cater anywhere, bringing our experience and operational knowledge along for the ride.
From TV studios, Film sets on location, weddings, to blank canvasses and everywhere in between, we provide delicious seasonal dishes, lovingly created by our team of talented chefs, at events organised by our passionate service team.
We understand the demands but all share a true passion for food and we promise you a hassle free catering experience from start to finish.
