30 YEARS OF TV & FILM
In the last 30 years Flying Trestles have catered for many TV and Film crews on some of the biggest Hollywood sets in NZ. We’ve fed cast and crews on films such Wrinkle in Time, Mission Impossible - Fallout and Ridley Scott's Alien Covenant.
We serve different food each day, which is always fresh, seasonal and sustainable, to crews from
20 - 2000 people.
LOCATION CATERING
We have a comprehensive Film and TV catering operation, offering a range of services for TV, Film and Commercials.
We appreciate how important meal times are for the crew, especially on long days. So our menus evolve constantly creating new ideas and dishes, to keep our food exciting!
With timings, dietaries and locations always changing, we know how important it is to adapt to the varying needs of our clients.
We’re enjoy building relationships with the crew to ensure a seamless delivery. Our service can be tailored to the specific requirements of your production.

Our mobile kitchens are versatile and maneuverable. We prepare extraordinary food in extraordinary places, anywhere!
We operate a fleet of mobile kitchen trucks and fully fitted shipping containers, all of which enable us to create extraordinary food in any location.
CRAFT SERVICES
Creating catering solutions around the clock.
As well as catering, we also provide craft services, enabling cast and crew to refuel and re-energise throughout the long working day or night.
Helping with the day to day cast and crew food on set, from artisan coffees, raw juices,
all day freshly made snacks - street food style and sweet treats, through to hearty late breaks, we have you covered!

We have worked hard to ensure we can deliver our services in the safest way possible, whilst maintaining the same high quality and service.
We're flexible in our approach to ensure we adhere to all your production requirements, so that every aspect of the job is covered. Whether that be from our flexible service style, social distancing measures, PPE, hot box food delivery options or sustainably packaged meals, whilst ensuring the crew still get to enjoy our delicious food, in any format.
